Anointing of the Sick

This sacrament is offered by appointment.

Baptism

Parents must be registered in the parish, practice the Faith and attend the baptism class. Godparents must be confirmed Catholics in good standing with the Church and attend a baptism class. Baptism Classes are offered monthly: in English, the first Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the rectory; in Spanish, the first Saturday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Pius X Room.

Confirmation

Confirmation is offered yearly for the high school youth of the Cathedral Parish, as well as for adults who have never been confirmed.

Classes in English for youth and adults not participating in RCIA:  February through May. Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday.  Classes in Spanish for youth: September through March/April. Confirmation date is set by Bishop's office each year.

First Communion

First Eucharist is offered for 2nd graders and for older children. Adults who have not received First Eucharist are prepared through the RCIA process.

Holy Matrimony

Please interview with Father Sherlock or Father Reilley at least 6 months prior to the anticipated date. Please call the parish office to setup an appointment.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered regularly at the Cathedral and by appointment with the Rector or Associate Pastor. First Reconciliation is scheduled in conjunction with First Communion preparation through the PSRF classes and the RCIA process.

Quinceañeras

Contact the Rector or Associate Pastor at least 4 months prior to the celebration. The quinceañera must attend a series of 7 classes in preparation for her Quinceañera Mass.

Quinceañera Classes

This series of seven classes is offered September - October and February -March and is required to have a Quinceañera Mass.
