Altar Society
The Altar Society provides necessities for the altar: bread, wine, candles and seasonal flowers. Members serve funeral dinners and receptions as requested. Activities include a monthly meeting with guest speaker or entertainment, the monthly Birthday Lunch, and various fund raisers as determined by the group.

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization for Catholic men. They coordinate charitable projects within the community with emphasis on pro-life issues, the mentally disabled and religious vocations.

Social Justice Committee
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul seek personal holiness by works of charity. The Cathedral Conference sponsors a monthly food collection the second Sunday of each month and the annual Thanksgiving collection. Assistance is made to those in need, particularly parishioners, by helping pay utilities, rent, food and bus fare.

The Lord's Diner Volunteer
Located at the corner of Broadway and Central, The Lord's Diner serves dinner nightly from 5:30 -7:30 p.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. Cathedral Parish's night to serve is the second Tuesday of each month. Members form two teams, one which arrives at noon for food preparation; the second arrives at 5:15 p.m. to serve the clients and clean up. All volunteers are required to take a food handler's course offered by the Sedgwick County Health Department.

Volunteer Parish Nurses offer blood pressure checks the 2nd Sunday of the month for parishioners. They host and coordinate the annual Cathedral Health Fair and keep the parish informed about pertinent health issues.
