Stewardship"As generous distributors of God's manifold grace, put your gifts at the service of one another, each in the measure he has received." 1 Pt 4:10 Stewardship CommitteeThe Stewardship Committee assists in encouraging an active response to our baptismal call to live a stewardship way of life by giving time, talent and treasure in order to fulfill the mission of the Church on earth. This group is responsible for the annual Stewardship Renewal Program.
Finance CouncilThe Finance Council is a committed stewardship group appointed by the Rector to assist him as advisors in the financial interests of the Parish Community. The members actively help with the preparation of the budget and its execution, advise the Rector on any major commitment of funds, and aid the Rector in the administration of parish goods.
Money CounterMoney Counters count the weekly contributions. The group is comprised of two teams consisting of three active members and two alternates. Teams meet on a rotational basis each Monday in the parish office for about an hour. During that time, they count the money, band the bills, wrap coins, prepare bank deposits and record totals in the parish weekly ledger sheet.
Pastoral CouncilThis advisory council is comprised of Commission Coordinators and members-at-large who act as advisors for the Rector on issues associated with the parish. This group also works in partnership with the Finance Council and the Stewardship Committee in matters important to the growth of the parish community. |
